Special Equipment Rental in Los Cabos

Some jobs call for a truck built around one task. Creatio owns three of them: a basket lift for work high above the ground, a hot asphalt patcher for broken pavement and a mixer that makes concrete right where it is poured. Rent any of them across Los Cabos, adding a trained Creatio operator if you ask.

01 What this category covers

When a project needs one particular truck

An excavator digs and a loader lifts material. Neither can raise a worker to a streetlight, refill a pothole with hot asphalt or turn sand, stone and cement into fresh concrete beside the formwork.

That is what this category is for. Each unit is a truck chassis carrying purpose built equipment, so it drives to the job on its own wheels and starts work as soon as it is set up. They come from the same Creatio fleet that serves our own building and civil works.

Use them on a public street, a private development, a commercial lot or a house under construction. If you are still choosing between machines, the full construction equipment lineup shows every category we rent, and our equipment and machinery rental service explains how hiring works.

03 Match the job

Which special unit solves your problem?

The three units do very different things, so the choice usually comes down to one question: do you need to reach up, repair a paved surface or place concrete?

04 Applications

Work these units are listed for

Each use below is taken from what Creatio publishes about these three units. Nothing has been added to make the list look longer.

Work at height

  • Maintenance of public street lighting
  • Tree pruning and urban forestry
  • Installations and repairs on raised structures
  • Jobs in construction, the electrical industry and municipalities

Road and pavement repair

  • Upkeep of roads and urban paving
  • Hot asphalt placed in potholes and cracks
  • Road maintenance on public and private works
  • Paved surfaces at commercial and industrial sites

Concrete made at the pour

  • Residential, urban and industrial construction
  • Pours where the truck can drive in over rough ground
  • Placing concrete higher up or farther away with the boom
  • Batches sized to the pour, with less left over

05 Who rents

Who books these units

Each group below matches work that Creatio publishes for these units.

  • Municipalities and public works

Street lighting, tree work and pothole repair on roads the public drives every day.

  • Contractors and builders

Concrete mixed beside the formwork, or a basket to reach an installation on a structure.

  • Developers and project managers

Internal streets of a development kept in good repair, and pours scheduled around the rest of the site.

  • Architects and engineers

A unit planned into the project early, when a pour location or a raised installation shapes the schedule.

  • Homeowners and property owners

Concrete for a house under construction, or a damaged private drive patched with hot asphalt.

  • Commercial and industrial sites

Parking areas and yards with paving to repair, and work at height on buildings and lighting.

06 Working together

Pair it with the rest of the fleet

A special unit often handles one step of a larger job. These are the Creatio machines and services that sit naturally beside each one.

With the patcher

Road and street work

A motor grader shapes a road base before paving, a CASE compactor firms the layers, and a dump truck carries away broken material. The patcher then keeps the finished surface in repair.

With the mixer

Foundations and slabs

An excavator or backhoe opens the footings, and our materials and aggregates service supplies sand and gravel. The Blend E050 then mixes and places the concrete at the forms.

With the basket lift

Building and civil projects

When a Creatio team is already handling your construction and civil works, the basket lift can join for lighting, fixtures or repairs that sit out of reach from the ground.

07 Why Creatio

Specialist trucks from a working builder

We use this equipment on our own projects, so whoever prepares your quote knows what each unit does well.

  • Owned, not brokered

All three units belong to Creatio. We do not go looking for a machine after you book.

  • A local yard

Our office and equipment yard sit in Cabo San Lucas, as does the team that plans the trip to your site.

  • Ten years and counting

Our crews have been building here for more than ten years, and that experience goes into planning every rental.

  • An operator is optional

Use your own crew, or hire a trained Creatio staffer to run the unit.

  • One request, several machines

Combine a special unit with backhoes, the excavator, a loader, the roller, the grader or our dump trucks.

08 Operator option

Run it yourself or with our crew

Operator available on request. A quote covers the unit alone unless you also request a Creatio crew member to operate it.

Option A

Unit only

You receive the truck and its equipment, and a person from your side operates it through to the end of the rental.

Option B

Unit with a Creatio operator

A trained Creatio employee travels with the unit and runs it on your job. Their time is itemized on its own in the quote, and booking one is never a condition of renting.

Operators are booked alongside the equipment, so mention one in your first message.

09 Travel and service area

Where the units go

All three trucks live in Cabo San Lucas, and every trip begins there. Delivery to your site is priced in the quote according to the location and the access route, not as a flat charge.

For a site farther away in Baja California Sur, send the location first. We will say honestly if the distance makes sense for that job.

11 FAQ

Special equipment rental questions

Straight answers about the basket lift, the pothole patcher and the mobile concrete mixer.

What special equipment does Creatio rent?

Three truck mounted units, all owned by Creatio: a 2014 International 4300 basket lift truck, a Pro Patch 4000 pothole patcher on a 2024 International truck, and a Blend E050 mobile concrete mixer on a 2024 Mack truck.

What is the basket lift truck used for?

It raises one or two workers and their tools in a basket so they can reach poles, structures and other high points. Creatio lists it for public lighting maintenance, tree pruning, and installations or repairs at height in construction, the electrical industry and municipal work.

How much can the basket carry, and how far does it turn?

Creatio lists a basket load of 200 to 350 kg, enough for one or two people with tools. The boom rotates through 360° and the basket swings through 180°, while hydraulic stabilizers keep the truck steady. Tell us the height you need, and the unit gets checked against it before you book.

How does the pothole patcher repair a road?

The Pro Patch 4000 carries asphalt on the truck and uses burners to keep it hot, so the mix goes into potholes and cracks at working temperature. Its semi automatic controls handle the mixing and application, and Creatio lists an average of 20 to 30 minutes per pothole.

How many potholes can it repair in a month?

Creatio estimates up to 800 a month under average conditions. The real number depends on the size of each repair and how far apart they are, so describe the job and we can map out the work together.

Is the patcher only for public roads?

No. Creatio lists it for public and private works, which covers streets inside private developments, along with commercial and industrial sites whose paved surfaces need repair.

What does the Blend E050 mobile concrete mixer do?

It mixes concrete on the truck, carries it to the job and places it with its own boom, so each batch is made where it will be poured. The unit is built onto a 2024 Mack truck and serves residential, urban and industrial construction.

Why use a mobile mixer instead of a regular drum truck?

Creatio points to a few reasons: the truck can drive up to the pour even over difficult ground, the mix stays consistent, the boom places concrete higher up or farther away without extra handling, and making only the amount the pour needs reduces waste.

Can I rent special equipment with an operator?

Yes. Operator available on request: a trained person from Creatio's own staff can run the unit on your job, and the operator is priced on its own line of the quote.

Can I rent a unit without an operator?

Yes. An operator is never required. Book the unit by itself and let a person from your own team run it.

Where can the special equipment work?

Every unit sets out from Cabo San Lucas. From there we cover San José del Cabo, other communities in Los Cabos, Todos Santos toward the Pacific, and Los Barriles plus La Ribera along the East Cape. For a site somewhere else in Baja California Sur, send the location and we will say whether the trip works.

How do I get a quote, and how are travel and availability handled?

Send the location, the type of work, your dates and whether a Creatio operator should come, plus the working height, the number of potholes or the concrete volume. Travel is priced by distance and by the access road to your site, rental length is set job by job, and our reply confirms the unit's availability for your dates.
